We are currently hiring for the following positions:

  • Physical Education/HOPE Teacher

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic HOPE Instructor to join our teaching faculty. This full-time position involves teaching six periods (three sophomore and three junior) of Health Opportunities through Physical Education (HOPE), alternating between classroom instruction and physical education activities, such as team sports and individual fitness. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering students’ physical well-being while collaborating closely with colleagues and engaging with students and families. This is a Full-time role for the school year (August through early June).


    Key Responsibilities:

       •   Develop and implement engaging lesson plans using the Understanding by Design framework.

       •   Utilize a 75-minute block schedule (every other day rotation) effectively.

       •   Maintain an active presence on CANVAS, ensuring students have access to assignments and resources.

       •   Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns.

       •   Provide instruction in both classroom health education and physical activities focused on fitness and teamwork.

       •   Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to enhance student learning.

       •   Participate in extracurricular activities as opportunities arise.


    Qualifications & Requirements:

       •   Passion for supporting the mission of Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory

       •   Bachelor’s degree in physical education or education (Master’s preferred).

       •   Minimum of two years of high school teaching experience preferred.

       •   Strong ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students.

       •   Dedication to promoting physical health and well-being in students.

       •   Florida Teaching Certification in Physical Education or eligibility to obtain within two years.

       •   Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, E-Verify requirements, and reference checks.

  • Math Teacher

    Job Overview:


    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Instructor to join our Teaching Faculty. This full-time, exempt position begins in August and runs through early June (190 days). Course work may include Algebra I & Geometry, utilizing the Understanding by Design model for curriculum planning.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver engaging and rigorous math instruction to students.
    • Utilize a 75-minute teaching period (every other day rotation) for effective lesson planning and instruction.
    • Foster student growth through interactive learning and collaboration with colleagues.
    • Utilize the CANVAS learning management system to track student progress and maintain communication with parents.
    • Opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities are available.
    • Contribute to the school’s academic community.

  • Social Studies Teacher

    Job Overview:


    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our Teaching Faculty. This full-time, exempt position begins in August and runs through early June (190 days). Course work may include World Geography, World History, US History and American Government, utilizing the Understanding by Design model for curriculum planning.

  • Learning Center Specialist

    Job Overview:


    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Center Specialist to join our Teaching Faculty. This full-time, exempt position begins in August and runs through early June (190 days). The Learning Center Specialist is responsible for the implementation of the objectives of the center. Close and frequent communication with the parents of the students enrolled in the center is essential. Additionally, articulation with classroom teachers is necessary for the academic success of the students.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively participate in the admissions committee.
    • Conduct interviews and assess candidates for the learning center in collaboration with the Director of Guidance.
    • Maintain open and effective communication with parents of students in the learning center.
    • Meet with parents at least twice per year to discuss student progress.
    • Develop student support plans and accommodations.
    • Monitor students’ progress in their academic coursework.
    • Provide tutoring and additional academic assistance as needed.
    • Assist students in developing strategic study habits and organizational skills.
    • Proctor exams and coordinate testing accommodations.
    • Organize review sessions before major exams and testing periods.
    • Collaborate with the school faculty to ensure academic success for students in the learning center.
    • Teach academic skills workshops for students.
    • Maintain confidential student records and reports.
    • Conduct roundtable discussions with faculty as needed.
    • Develop a plan of intervention for students when necessary.
    • Provides referrals to outside therapists and agencies as necessary.
    • Monitors psycho-educational testing cycles for students in the center.
    • Interprets results of psychoeducational testing.
    • Teaches classes as scheduled for the learning center.
    • Assists individual teachers with instructional strategies for students with learning exceptionalities.
    • Conducts professional in-services for classroom teachers when requested by administration.
    • Other duties as assigned.

  • Administrative Assistant for the Athletics Department 

    Position Overview:

    Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for the Athletics Department. This position provides support to our Athletic Directors and is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the athletic department, including coordination with coaches, student-athletes, vendors, and school staff.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and update athletic records in the C2C database.
    • Ensure compliance with Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) filing requirements.
    • Manage student-athlete documentation in collaboration with the Athletic Trainer.
    • Coordinate logistics for games and events, including transportation and official communications.
    • Organize and support athletic events (e.g., signing days, banquets, senior nights).
    • Process orders and manage inventory for athletic equipment and supplies.
    • Submit compliance reports and assist with P-card reconciliation and purchase orders.
    • Serve as a liaison with Advancement for athletic donations.
    • Provide front office support as needed and other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Strong technology skills (Microsoft Office, Administrator’s Plus, and related platforms).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
    • Welcoming demeanor and ability to interact professionally with students, families, and staff.
    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting the Catholic mission of the school.
  • Executive Assistant 

    Position Overview:

    Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the Head of School and Advancement Department. This position plays a key role in advancing the mission of our school by ensuring smooth operations across both leadership and advancement functions. This is a full-time, 12-month position.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate appointments and meetings with donors, vendors, and others.

    • Prepare agendas and materials for board meetings and leadership team gatherings.

    • Take and distribute meeting minutes as requested.

    • Maintain accurate records and correspondence.

    • Generate and manage purchase orders and payment requests.

    • Oversee department purchasing card (P-card) reconciliation.

    • Support advancement events such as Homecoming, Open House, and fundraising campaigns.

    • Update records in Raiser’s Edge and maintain Advancement Scholarship files.

    • Assist with preparation of press releases, reports, and other communications.

    • Collaborating with IT and food service teams for event logistics.

    • Provide occasional front desk support and assist with reception coverage.

    • Maintain designated bulletin boards, office & storage spaces in Marianist Hall.

    • Manage all printing and mailing items via collaboration with the on campus Copy Center.

    • Serve as a liaison to the Chama Mama parent group.

    • Pursue Notary Public credential as needed.

    • Special projects, as needed.


    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field OR equivalent experience as an executive assistant.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills (written assessment required).

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Proven ability to work under deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.

    • Proven experience in an executive administrative support role or similar position is preferred.

    • Experience in project coordination is a plus.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
