Brianna O'Neil '12

Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame

Brianna, a Miami Shores native, was a four-year starter, two-year captain and two time Most Valuable Player for the Women's Varsity Volleyball team at Chaminade-Madonna. She helped lead the Lions to the 2009 FHSAA State Tournament for the first time in school history and two District Championships. She was recognized as First Team All-County in her sophomore, junior and senior year. Also, she was honored with the Blessed William Joseph Chaminade Award and Scholar-Athlete Award her senior year. In addition to her athletic accolades, Brianna was a recurring member of the honor roll and active participant in several National Honors Societies.

Brianna continued her student-athlete career at Fordham University after receiving a full athletic scholarship to play NCAA Division I Volleyball for the Fordham Rams. Brianna remained a dominant force on the court all four years, leading the Rams in kills her Junior year and second in kills both her freshman and sophomore seasons. She received numerous All-Tournament team honors and was named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll in each of her final three seasons. In 2016, Brianna graduated from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University with a major in Finance and minors in Marketing and Economics.


In August 2016 Brianna moved from New York City to San Diego, California to begin her career with Deloitte & Touche in Risk Management consulting. After four years at Deloitte, Brianna now works at van den Boom & Associates as a Manager in IT Risk and Compliance. Outside of work, she continues to pursue her passions of playing beach volleyball and traveling the world.


Brianna is a proud daughter of John and Christine O'Neil, and proud sister to Chaminade-Madonna alumni Emily Loutzenhiser ‘14 and Johnny O'Neil ‘20.
